HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
A 2-day pre-program weekend on March 23-24, 2023 and in-class sessions May 1-31, offered on Western's campus in the Ivey building, and an internship, June-August.
FREE TUITION
The WAM program is tuition-free and is subsidized by our corporate sponsors who support our mission. We also provide course materials, accommodations, selected meals, and networking events. You just need to provide your own accommodation during the internship.
The in-class sessions provide the skills, knowledge, and competencies to help you launch a career in asset management. The sessions cover technical skills, industry knowledge, and career success.
DIVERSITY
We are striving to fill the class with a diverse group of students who self-identify as women with broad representation from faculties across Western University and all other Canadian universities.
You will experience asset management hands-on through a 10-12 week paid internship, with mentoring and networking opportunities at a bank, pension fund, hedge fund, or other asset management firm.
The application requires a resume, two letters of recommendation, two short essays and a short video that introduces yourself and describes why you should be part of the program. Candidates that make it through an initial screening will be interviewed by a selection committee.
