The Ivey Purchasing Managers Index (seasonally adjusted) by the end of June 2018 stood at 63.1. The corresponding figure for June 2017 was 61.6 and for June 2016 was 51.7.
The Employment index (seasonally adjusted) for June 2018 stood at 59.3; Inventories (seasonally adjusted) 51.7; Supplier Deliveries (seasonally adjusted) were 47.0; and Prices were 74.3.
The Ivey PMI unadjusted data for the month of June 2018 is 65.1; Employment 61.0; Inventories 53.3; Supplier Deliveries 47.1; and Prices 71.5.
The Ivey Purchasing Managers Index (seasonally adjusted) by the end of May 2018 stood at 62.5. The corresponding figure for May 2017 was 53.8 and for May 2016 was 49.4.
The Employment index (seasonally adjusted) for May 2018 stood at 61.2; Inventories (seasonally adjusted) 55.0; Supplier Deliveries (seasonally adjusted) were 48.7; and Prices were 64.4.
The Ivey Purchasing Managers Index shows responses to one question: "Were your purchases last month in dollars higher, the same, or lower than the previous month?”
A figure above 50 shows an increase while below 50 shows a decrease.
