The Ivey Purchasing Managers Index (seasonally adjusted) by the end of July 2017 stood at 60.0. The corresponding figure for July 2016 was 57.0 and for June 2015 was 52.9.
The Employment index (seasonally adjusted) for July stood at 52.6. Inventories (seasonally adjusted) 55.8; Supplier Deliveries (seasonally adjusted) were 46.2; and Prices were 69.2.
The Ivey PMI unadjusted data for the month of July is 52.9; Employment 52.4; Inventories 52.7; Supplier Deliveries 44.2; and Prices 61.1.
The Ivey Purchasing Managers Index (seasonally adjusted) by the end of June 2017 stood at 61.6. The corresponding figure for June 2016 was 51.7 and for June 2015 was 55.9. The Employment index (seasonally adjusted) for June stood at 52.0. Inventories (seasonally adjusted) 60.7; Supplier Deliveries (seasonally adjusted) were 46.9; and Prices were 57.4.
The Ivey Purchasing Managers Index shows responses to one question: "Were your purchases last month in dollars higher, the same, or lower than the previous month?”
A figure above 50 shows an increase while below 50 shows a decrease.
