The Ivey Purchasing Managers Index (seasonally adjusted) by the end of June 2017 stood at 61.6. The corresponding figure for June 2016 was 51.7 and for June 2015 was 55.9.
The Employment index (seasonally adjusted) for June stood at 52.0. Inventories (seasonally adjusted) 60.7; Supplier Deliveries (seasonally adjusted) were 46.9; and Prices were 57.4.
The Ivey PMI unadjusted data for the month of June is 63.9; Employment 53.9; Inventories 59.9; Supplier Deliveries 47.6; and Prices 59.6.
The Ivey Purchasing Managers Index (seasonally adjusted) by the end of May 2017 stood at 53.8. The corresponding figure for May 2016 was 49.4 and for May 2015 was 62.3. The Employment index (seasonally adjusted) for May stood at 50.4. Inventories (seasonally adjusted) 56.5; Supplier Deliveries (seasonally adjusted) were 44.6; and Prices were 51.3.
The Ivey Purchasing Managers Index shows responses to one question: "Were your purchases last month in dollars higher, the same, or lower than the previous month?”
A figure above 50 shows an increase while below 50 shows a decrease.
