The Ivey Purchasing Managers Index (seasonally adjusted) by the end of November 2017 stood at 63.0. The corresponding figure for November 2016 was 56.8 and for November 2015 was 63.5.
The Employment index (seasonally adjusted) for November stood at 53.9. Inventories (seasonally adjusted) 60.1; Supplier Deliveries (seasonally adjusted) were 45.8; and Prices were 67.7.
The Ivey PMI unadjusted data for the month of November is 62.4; Employment 53.5; Inventories 57.6; Supplier Deliveries 46.9; and Prices 63.3.
The Ivey Purchasing Managers Index (seasonally adjusted) by the end of October 2017 stood at 63.8. The corresponding figure for October 2016 was 59.7 and for October 2015 was 53.1. The Employment index (seasonally adjusted) for October stood at 52.0. Inventories (seasonally adjusted) 58.2; Supplier Deliveries (seasonally adjusted) were 45.9; and Prices were 59.0.
The Ivey Purchasing Managers Index shows responses to one question: "Were your purchases last month in dollars higher, the same, or lower than the previous month?”
A figure above 50 shows an increase while below 50 shows a decrease.
