Director of the Ivey Purchasing Managers Index
The Ivey Purchasing Managers Index (seasonally adjusted) by the end of June 2015 stood at 55.9. The corresponding figure for June 2014 was 46.9 and for June 2013 was 55.3.
The Employment index (seasonally adjusted) for June stood at 50.7. Inventories (seasonally adjusted) 48.9, Supplier Deliveries (seasonally adjusted) were 48.8 and Prices were 59.4.
The Ivey PMI unadjusted data for the month of June is 59.5, Employment 53.2, Inventories 48.1, Supplier Deliveries 50.0 and Prices 57.6.
The Ivey Purchasing Managers Index shows responses to one question: "Were your purchases last month in dollars higher, the same, or lower than the previous month?"
A figure above 50 shows an increase while below 50 shows a decrease.
