Director of the Ivey Purchasing Managers Index
The Ivey Purchasing Managers Index (seasonally adjusted) by the end of November 2015 stood at 63.6. The corresponding figure for November 2014 was 56.9 and for November 2013 was 53.7.
The Employment index (seasonally adjusted) for November stood at 53.8. Inventories (seasonally adjusted) 58.4, Supplier Deliveries (seasonally adjusted) were 53.4 and Prices were 55.2.
The Ivey PMI unadjusted data for the month of November is 57.9, Employment 51.4, Inventories 54.3, Supplier Deliveries 51.5 and Prices 53.7.
The Ivey Purchasing Managers Index (seasonally adjusted) by the end of October 2015 stood at 53.1. The Employment index (seasonally adjusted) for October stood at 48.3. Inventories (seasonally adjusted) 46.6, Supplier Deliveries (seasonally adjusted) were 51.9 and Prices were 61.8.
The Ivey Purchasing Managers Index shows responses to one question: "Were your purchases last month in dollars higher, the same, or lower than the previous month?"
A figure above 50 shows an increase while below 50 shows a decrease.
