39 Country Initiative
Ivey’s 39 Country Initiative provides free access to over 9,200 business cases and teaching materials to professors in 46 of the world’s least developed countries—those with a per capita GDP under $2,000 USD. Over 2,600 faculty have registered so far. It leverages Ivey Publishing’s vast collection of cases and teaching materials and has built a global network of schools supporting its key activities. LEADER Project
LEADER is a student-driven overseas economic development program. It was founded in 1991 by MBA students from the Ivey Business School with the mandate of empowering promising entrepreneurs in frontier markets to envision, launch, and/or scale new ventures. Through this approach LEADER aims to enable high-potential individuals to develop local business solutions that create opportunities for their communities.
Ubuntu Management Education Initiative
Ivey's Ubuntu Management Education Initiative sends HBA students to African universities to demonstrate case teaching right in the classroom. Since 2012, 100 Ivey students have traveled to Africa to teach, and over 1,800 African students have earned Certificates of Completion from the program.
