My research interests lie at the intersection of empirical corporate finance and innovation. In particular, I explore the role of inventors who returned to their home country in shaping the innovation direction of their employers, cross-border R&D collaboration, and the transfer of knowledge. I also study how changes in corporate managerial incentives transmit to innovation quality. In other ongoing works, I am interested in labor mobility driven by policital shocks and human capital in the venture capital market.
